Fundi UG (fundiug.com) is owned and operated by Harwooma Enterprises Company Limited.

1. Who we are

These Terms govern your use of the Fundi UG website and related services. The legal contracting entity is Harwooma Enterprises Company Limited, registered in Uganda. Trading name: Fundi UG.

2. The service

Fundi UG connects clients with skilled workers (“fundis”) and may offer membership plans, job listings, and related tools. We are a marketplace / directory platform; we do not employ fundis unless expressly stated in writing.

Job posts are free for anyone (home owners, contractors, neighbours, organisations). Post only real work opportunities. We may remove spam, fake, or harmful posts. Applying to desk jobs on the board may require an active fundi membership (Pro or Elite) as shown on Pricing and Jobs; some outside listings stay free to apply direct with the employer.

3. Accounts and memberships

Fundis must provide accurate contact and identity information.
Joining and creating a profile is free. To stay listed and contactable in search, a fundi membership applies, starting from UGX 10,000/month depending on the plan chosen. Current plan pricing is always shown on the Pricing page and at the point of activation.
Client profile unlocks are free during the launch period referenced on the site; this may change with notice as described on the Pricing page.
Payments may be processed via Pesapal or other authorised payment partners.

4. Payments

Fees for memberships or other products are shown at checkout. Payment partners (including Pesapal) may apply their own processing fees and settlement rules. Refunds, if any, follow our support process and applicable law.

5. Fundi Shop

Fundi UG may host a Shop where sellers list tools, materials, or custom trade goods. Unless we clearly say otherwise for a specific order:

We introduce buyers and sellers. Buyers pay the seller directly. We do not hold shop purchase money in escrow in the lead (Phase A) model.
Sellers must describe items honestly, own the right to sell them, and must not list stolen, illegal, or dangerous goods (including weapons).
Listings may be reviewed, suspended, or removed. Disputes about quality, delivery, or payment for shop items are primarily between buyer and seller; we may help mediate at our discretion.

6. Refer & Earn / Fundi Coins

Registered fundis may receive a personal referral link under “Earn Now” on their Fundi home. When a new fundi registers using that link and pays their first membership subscription, the referring fundi may earn a reward equal to 10% of that first paid subscription amount, credited as Fundi Coins.

1 Fundi Coin = UGX 500. Rewards are rounded down to whole coins.
Only the friend’s first confirmed subscription payment earns a reward. Renewals and later upgrades for the same friend do not earn again.
Coins expire one (1) year after they are credited, unless redeemed or cashed out earlier under rules we publish.
Cash-out requires a minimum balance of 100 Fundi Coins (UGX 50,000). When you reach that amount, you can request cash-out on Fundi home. Coins are held while we pay you by MoMo to your registered number (usually within a few business days after you confirm on WhatsApp).
We may change, pause, or end the Refer & Earn programme, adjust rates, or reverse credits that result from fraud, self-referral, or payment chargebacks.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the platform, post false credentials, harass others, or attempt to circumvent fees or security controls.
